3. Information and Professional Disclaimer

The information provided on our website, including articles, podcasts, videos, courses and downloadable resources, is intended for general informational and educational purposes.

It does not constitute, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for, individual medical advice, psychological counselling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, treatment or other professional healthcare services.

Although we aim to provide accurate, relevant and evidence-informed information, fertility treatments, psychological experiences and individual circumstances vary considerably.

We do not guarantee any particular medical, psychological, fertility or treatment outcome.

Visitors should seek advice from appropriately qualified healthcare or mental health professionals regarding their individual circumstances and should not delay or discontinue professional care based solely on information provided through our website.

Accessing our website or general educational resources does not establish a professional counselling, therapeutic or healthcare relationship with YFC. Such a relationship begins only when a professional service has been formally agreed and accepted.

4. Counselling, Coaching and Hypnotherapy

Our counselling, coaching and hypnotherapy services are designed to provide professional support in navigating emotional challenges, personal decisions and fertility-related experiences.

We aim to provide a respectful, confidential and supportive environment in which clients can explore their concerns, develop coping strategies and make informed decisions.

Individual experiences and outcomes vary. Participation in our services does not guarantee pregnancy, fertility treatment success, emotional recovery or any other specific result.

Clients are encouraged to participate actively, communicate relevant concerns and make informed decisions about their care.

Where appropriate, we may recommend consultation with another healthcare professional or specialist.

4.1 Professional Boundaries

Our services are delivered within the professional qualifications, competencies and ethical responsibilities of the individual practitioner.

Counselling, coaching and hypnotherapy are distinct services, and their scope will be explained where relevant.

YFC does not prescribe medication, provide medical diagnoses or make fertility treatment decisions on behalf of clients.

Our professional services are intended to complement, rather than replace, appropriate medical care.

4.2 Emergency and Crisis Situations

Our services are not intended to provide emergency medical or psychiatric care or crisis intervention.

If you are experiencing an immediate medical or mental health emergency, please contact your local emergency services or an appropriate crisis support provider.

YFC cannot guarantee immediate responses to messages, emails or other communications outside scheduled appointments.

5. Appointments and Bookings

Appointments may be booked through our designated booking channels or by contacting our team.

All appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.

Clients will receive relevant information about the session format, duration, fees and any preparation requirements before their appointment.

5.1 Online Appointments

Online appointments require a reliable internet connection and a suitable private environment in which the client can participate comfortably and confidentially.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that their chosen location allows them to participate safely and without unnecessary interruptions.

YFC will take reasonable measures to use appropriate communication platforms and protect client confidentiality.

5.2 Appointment Changes

Requests to cancel or reschedule appointments are subject to the cancellation and rescheduling policy outlined in Section 6 of these Terms.

Where YFC needs to reschedule an appointment, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice and arrange a suitable alternative.

5.3 Service Suitability

YFC reserves the right to decline, postpone or discontinue a service where it falls outside our professional scope, where appropriate professional care cannot reasonably be provided, or where continuing the service would be inconsistent with applicable legal, professional or ethical obligations.

Where practicable and appropriate, we will explain the decision and provide relevant referral guidance.

Any applicable refund or payment obligations will be handled in accordance with Section 6 and relevant law.

6. Fees, Payments and Cancellations

Fees for counselling, coaching, hypnotherapy and other individual services will be communicated before booking or payment.

Payment arrangements may vary depending on the service or booking channel. Payment may be required in advance, at the time of booking, or following the session, as specified in the relevant booking confirmation or invoice.

All applicable fees, payment terms and taxes will be communicated in advance.

6.1 Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients are required to provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur the full session fee (100%).

6.2 Non-Attendance (No-Shows)

If a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior cancellation, the full session fee (100%) will be charged.

This applies to both online and in-person appointments.

6.3 Late Payments

Payments must be made within the timeframe specified in the relevant booking confirmation or invoice.

If payment remains outstanding 14 calendar days after the invoice due date, a fixed late payment fee of SGD 40 will apply, provided this fee was disclosed and agreed upon before the service was booked.

The late payment fee will be charged once per overdue invoice and will not accumulate or compound.

YFC reserves the right to suspend future bookings or services until outstanding payments have been settled, subject to applicable legal and professional obligations.

6.4 Refunds

Refund requests will be assessed in accordance with the applicable booking conditions and relevant consumer protection laws.

Where YFC cancels a paid appointment and an alternative arrangement cannot be agreed upon, the client will be offered a refund for the undelivered service.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable consumer protection legislation.

7. Confidentiality and Client Information

YFC recognises that fertility-related experiences often involve deeply personal and sensitive information.

Information shared during professional counselling sessions is treated confidentially in accordance with applicable data protection laws, professional ethical obligations and the relevant service agreement.

7.1 Confidentiality and Professional Obligations

Confidentiality is fundamental to our professional services. However, it may be subject to legal and professional exceptions, including circumstances involving serious safety concerns, safeguarding obligations or disclosure required by law.

The specific boundaries of confidentiality, including any relevant information-sharing arrangements, will be explained as part of the counselling process.

7.2 Professional Records

YFC may maintain appropriate professional records relating to counselling, coaching and other services in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory and professional requirements.

Such records will be handled with appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

7.3 Information Sharing

Personal information will only be shared with third parties where there is an appropriate legal basis, including where consent has been obtained, where sharing is necessary for an agreed service, or where disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.

Where services are provided in collaboration with fertility clinics or other healthcare professionals, relevant information-sharing arrangements will be explained as appropriate.

7.4 Privacy Policy

Further information about how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal information, including applicable retention periods and individual rights, is provided in our Privacy Policy.

8. Professional Education and Online Courses

Your Fertility Counsellor (YFC) offers educational resources and professional training opportunities for healthcare professionals, counsellors and other individuals interested in fertility-related psychological care.

Our professional education programs may include self-paced online courses, recorded lessons, downloadable materials, assessments and certificates of completion.

8.1 Course Enrolment

By enrolling in a course, participants agree to provide accurate registration information and comply with the applicable course requirements.

Course descriptions, fees, access arrangements, learning objectives and any prerequisites will be communicated before purchase.

8.2 Course Access

Participants will receive access to their purchased course for 12 months from the date of enrolment, unless a different commencement date is expressly stated at the time of purchase.

Course access is granted exclusively to the registered participant for individual learning and professional development purposes.

Login credentials and course access may not be shared, transferred or made available to third parties.

YFC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access in cases of material misuse or breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

Upon expiry of the 12-month access period, access to course content and associated materials may be discontinued without further notice. Participants are responsible for completing their learning activities and downloading any permitted materials or certificates before their access expires.

8.3 Educational Scope

Our courses are designed to enhance professional knowledge, awareness and skills relating to fertility counselling, reproductive health and associated psychological care.

Participation in or completion of a course does not automatically confer a professional qualification, licence, accreditation or authority to practise beyond an individual's existing professional scope.

Participants remain responsible for ensuring that their professional activities comply with the ethical, regulatory and licensing requirements applicable in their respective jurisdictions.

8.4 Certificates and Continuing Professional Education

Certificates of completion and continuing professional education (CPE/CCE) credits may be available for selected courses.

The requirements for obtaining a certificate or qualifying for professional education credits will be specified in the relevant course description and may include completion of learning modules, assessments or other prescribed activities.

Completion of a course does not guarantee recognition by a professional association, licensing authority or regulatory body unless such recognition has been expressly confirmed.

Participants are responsible for verifying whether a particular course meets the continuing education requirements of their relevant professional organisation or regulatory authority.

8.5 Course Payments and Refunds

Course prices, payment arrangements and any applicable taxes will be displayed before purchase.

All course purchases are final and non-refundable once access to the course has been granted, except where a refund or other remedy is required under applicable consumer protection laws.

Participants are encouraged to review the course description, learning objectives and requirements carefully before purchasing.

Where YFC is unable to provide a purchased course, or where a course is materially different from its advertised description, an appropriate remedy will be offered in accordance with applicable law. This may include restoring access, providing an alternative course where agreed, or issuing a full or partial refund.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

8.6 Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

All course content, including videos, audio recordings, presentations, written materials, worksheets, assessments and downloadable resources, is owned by or licensed to 2plus Consulting Pte Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Purchasing a course grants the registered participant a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for individual learning and professional reference.

Participants may not reproduce, record, distribute, share, resell, publish, upload or otherwise make course content available to third parties without prior written permission from YFC, except where permitted by applicable law.

Course materials may not be used to develop, deliver or commercialise competing training programs without prior written authorisation.

8.7 Course Availability and Updates

YFC may periodically update course content to reflect developments in research, professional practice, regulations or educational standards.

We aim to maintain access to purchased courses throughout the stated access period. However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where a course becomes permanently unavailable before the end of the purchased access period, YFC will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include alternative access, replacement content or a proportionate refund, subject to applicable law.

9.2 Podcast Guest Participation and Compensation

Individuals invited to participate as podcast guests will receive information about the recording, publication and intended use of their contribution.

Participation is voluntary and unpaid unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing before recording.

Guests are not entitled to fees, royalties, revenue sharing or other financial compensation arising from their participation or from the recording, publication, distribution or promotion of podcast content, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Guest participation is subject to a separate Podcast Guest Consent & Release Agreement, where applicable, addressing recording consent, editing, publication, promotional use and relevant confidentiality considerations.

9.3 Editorial Control, Recording and Publication

Your Fertility Counsellor retains full editorial control over the recording, editing, production, publication and promotion of podcast episodes.

Podcast contributions may be edited for clarity, length, quality and presentation, while making reasonable efforts to preserve the intended meaning and context of the guest's contribution.

Guests do not have an automatic right to review, approve or request changes to an episode before publication.

YFC may publish and promote podcast episodes, including selected excerpts, through its website, podcast platforms, social media and other relevant communication channels, subject to the permissions granted in the applicable Podcast Guest Consent & Release Agreement.

Requests for corrections, removal or withdrawal will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account applicable legal obligations, privacy considerations and the circumstances of the request. Publication or removal decisions remain at YFC's editorial discretion, subject to applicable law.

9.4 Personal Experiences and Confidentiality

Podcast discussions may involve sensitive personal experiences, including fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, donor conception and emotional wellbeing.

Guests are encouraged to consider carefully what personal information they wish to share publicly, including information relating to family members, patients or other individuals.

Guests must not disclose confidential patient information or other protected third-party information without appropriate authorisation or another lawful basis for disclosure.

YFC will take reasonable care when handling sensitive discussions. However, once an episode has been published or distributed through third-party platforms, complete removal from all external services cannot be guaranteed.

9.5 Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, YFC retains the intellectual property rights it holds in its original podcast recordings, production, branding and associated materials.

Guest contributions remain subject to the permissions and rights set out in the applicable Podcast Guest Consent & Release Agreement.

Unauthorised reproduction, redistribution or commercial use of podcast recordings or materials is not permitted, except as allowed by applicable law.

9.6 Limitation of Liability

YFC makes reasonable efforts to ensure that podcast content is prepared and presented responsibly. However, podcast discussions may include personal experiences, individual opinions and information that may not be applicable to every listener.

YFC does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, suitability or continued relevance of all information or opinions expressed in podcast episodes, particularly those provided by independent guests.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YFC, 2plus Consulting Pte Ltd, the podcast host and associated contributors disclaim liability for losses, damages or adverse consequences arising from a listener's reliance on general podcast information in place of appropriate individual professional advice.

Listeners remain responsible for seeking qualified professional guidance before making decisions concerning their medical treatment, psychological wellbeing, fertility care or other personal circumstances.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including applicable statutory rights or liability for negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.

This restriction does not prevent individuals from using publicly available YFC content for legitimate personal learning, research or reference purposes.

10.4 Third-Party Content

Certain materials displayed on the YFC website or through associated services may be owned by third parties and used with permission or under applicable licences.

Such materials remain subject to the intellectual property rights of their respective owners.

YFC may use third-party platforms and service providers to support the delivery of its website, counselling and coaching services, professional education programs, payment processing and communications.

These may include website hosting providers, appointment management systems, online learning platforms, payment processors and other technology providers.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms, conditions and privacy policies.

Our website may also contain links to external websites, articles, organisations, podcasts or other resources provided for informational or educational purposes.

While we aim to select appropriate service providers and relevant resources, YFC does not control the content, availability, security or practices of independent third-party websites.

The inclusion of an external link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or recommendation.

Nothing in this section excludes YFC's own legal obligations relating to the selection, use or oversight of third-party service providers, including applicable data protection responsibilities.

13. Website Availability and Changes

YFC aims to maintain a reliable, accessible and up-to-date website and digital learning environment.

However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed, and temporary disruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party service interruptions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may update, modify, replace or discontinue website features, informational resources or other digital content where reasonably necessary.

Where changes materially affect a purchased service or course, YFC will endeavour to provide reasonable notice and an appropriate alternative or remedy in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits statutory rights or contractual obligations relating to paid services or digital content.

14. Limitation of Liability

YFC takes reasonable care in preparing its content and delivering its services. However, information provided through our website, articles, podcasts, educational resources and other publicly available materials is intended for general informational and educational purposes only.

Such information does not constitute personalised medical advice, psychological counselling, psychotherapy, diagnosis or treatment and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with an appropriately qualified professional.

YFC does not guarantee any particular medical, fertility, psychological, therapeutic or personal outcome arising from the use of its services or educational resources.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including liability for fraud, applicable statutory consumer rights, or negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.

These Terms do not remove our responsibility to exercise reasonable care, professional competence and appropriate ethical standards when providing counselling, coaching, hypnotherapy or other professional services.

15. Privacy and Cookies

Your privacy is important to us.

Our collection, use, disclosure, storage and protection of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

Our website may use essential cookies and, where permitted and appropriately authorised, optional analytics or marketing technologies.

For further information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

16. International Users

YFC operates from Singapore and may provide online services, educational programs and informational resources to individuals in different countries.

Access to our website or educational content does not necessarily mean that a particular counselling, coaching, hypnotherapy or healthcare-related service is available or authorised in every jurisdiction.

The availability of professional services across international borders may depend on applicable local laws, professional requirements, regulatory restrictions and the practitioner's ability to provide appropriate care.

YFC reserves the right to decline or discontinue services where their provision would be inconsistent with applicable legal, regulatory or professional obligations.

Users are encouraged to familiarise themselves with any relevant local requirements. This does not remove YFC's own responsibility to comply with laws and professional obligations applicable to the services it provides.

17. Changes to These Terms

YFC may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, technology or applicable legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.

Where changes materially affect an existing paid service or course, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate and comply with applicable contractual and legal obligations.

Changes will not retrospectively remove contractual or statutory rights that have already arisen.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions or other applicable laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you have a concern or dispute regarding our website, services or educational programs, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can seek a fair and reasonable resolution.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of Singapore will have jurisdiction, subject to any applicable mandatory jurisdictional rights.
